Before putting cover back on, make sure they are lined up front-to back (long way). Keep the cover against the headlights then push in. I have removed and replaced mine several times while I am fabbing up the high-mount bullbar brackets. I have it down to a science. Takes me about 3-4 minutes.

WJ 2000 used rivets to install l-brackets under his front flares. This gave him a mounting point for his front inner fender liners. It is a great idea, follow his advice if you want to run the inner fender linings. He is awesome and provided pics and advice that helped me a ton on this build! I ran an IRO 4" and ~32"s (metric 31.6" equivalent IIRC) and had to do pretty major front bumper and inner wheel well trimming, along with the ZJ washer-bottle and fog-light deletes up front. The fronts would touch the rear of the opening occasionally too so I probably should have moved the axle ~0.5" forward and trimmed even more.
